# Caret — your private agentic voice keyboard

keyboard. Your voice and your data stays fully private.

hosted speech-to-text with zero retention.

- **Zero retention.** Hosted Caret: all data is deleted after processing.

## 02 Dictate — write at the speed of speech

Dictate naturally. Caret turns what you say into polished, insert-ready text
where you are already writing.

## 03 Your agent — connect to your own agent

Caret connects to the agent, backend, and models you already use. It works with
popular agent harnesses: Codex, Claude, Grok Bot, Hermes and OpenClaw.

## 04 Ask — ask your agent

Ask the connected agent and insert an answer grounded in its connected data and
tools. Plug directly into your second brain.

## 05 Imagine — images with context

Say "sticker of me, big thumbs up". Your agent knows who "me" is, and the image
lands at the cursor.

## Build a backend

Caret has no first-party backend. The contract between the keyboard and whatever
backend you run is published in full at
